An iron candle holder to hold the various materials so they would be in as similar a bowl shape as possible.
The materials were held in place by binder clips to make sure everything would not move.
A tempered glass candle holder to catch anything that might fall on the ground.
A syringe to put .25 cc of zippo lighter fluid (something anyone can find) as the fuel for each test.
I then used a simple wooden match to set the fuel on fire.
An Olympus D-425 (just in case you cared) to film everything. The pictures are not altered in any way, shape or form. (The only exception to this rule is that the pictures were resized smaller for thumbnail view, and enlarged if you click on the thumbnail for an expanded view.
The movies are completely untouched.
I have measured the time in the pictures from when the fuel was ignited.
