Please note: Our “Fire-Friendly” rubber is only fire resistant it IS NOT fire proof (nothing is for that matter). When doing any type of burn, it is your responsibility to follow all safety procedures (a few examples are: sealed fuel containers, a separate fueling area, wet towels, fire extinguishers, trained fire safety and a burn area that is clear, open and free of debris). Rubberlicious assumes no responsibility for any damages to product, person/s, surroundings or audience whatsoever. We recommend that our “Fire-Friendly” line of products only be used by trained professionals.
Nothing that is fire resistant is 100% safe. Our product helps you by giving an extra layer of protection between the user and the fire, giving you the precious extra seconds that prevent you from truly serious damage. Use it at your own risk, and PLEEEEEAAAAASSSSSE BURN SMART!

In a previous incarnation, Anzjalise reportedly ran away and joined the circus, during which time she systematically lit things (including herself) on fire. As a fire performer, she wanted to make something that was fire friendly. So, due to the necessity of her costumes not burning and/or melting off, the search began for fire-friendly materials.
Rubberlicious is proud to present to you her latest creation, fire friendly rubber. Anzjalise has been working on this for some time, and she thinks it is time to show the world what she has come up with. Believe it or not, our rubber is fire-friendly!

Anything (and I mean anything) will burn if it gets hot enough.
So, for all you pyromaniac pixies out there, we have done a series of tests with our rubber and several other popularly used costuming materials. Please take a peek at the pictures and watch the videos. We're sure you'll find that not only will our rubber work excellently for costuming...but it's also incredibly safe to wear.

We have recently done a live burn of our rubber, with astounding results! My P.I.C., who is inexperienced in playing with fire, accomplished a burn that lasted just over a minute, with negligible damage done to the rubber. Myself, the experienced fire performer, pulled off a burn that lasted just over 3 minutes! :^) Needless to say, we were very impressed… If you’d like to watch the videos, just go to YouTube.com and you'll see them.
