Make Money With Rubberlicious

Please note: Our “Fire-Friendly” rubber is only fire resistant it IS NOT fire proof (nothing is for that matter). When doing any type of burn, it is your responsibility to follow all safety procedures (a few examples are: sealed fuel containers, a separate fueling area, wet towels, fire extinguishers, trained fire safety and a burn area that is clear, open and free of debris). Rubberlicious assumes no responsibility for any damages to product, person/s, surroundings or audience whatsoever. We recommend that our “Fire-Friendly” line of products only be used by trained professionals.
Nothing that is fire resistant is 100% safe. Our product helps you by giving an extra layer of protection between the user and the fire, giving you the precious extra seconds that prevent you from truly serious damage. Use it at your own risk, and PLEEEEEAAAAASSSSSE BURN SMART!

The tools I used for the flame from below test are:
An iron candle holder to hold the various materials so they would be the exact same distance from the flame.
A tempered glass candle holder to catch anything that might fall on the ground.
I put one tea candle on top of another, so the distance from the flame at the start of the test would be the same every time.
An Olympus D-425 (just in case you cared) to film everything.
The pictures are not altered in any way, shape or form. (The only exception to this rule is that the pictures were resized smaller for thumbnail view, and enlarged if you click on the thumbnail for an expanded view.
The movies are completely untouched.
I have measured the time in the pictures from when materials were placed over the flame.

Three Second Burn Time
Rubberlicous
Fire cloth

Cotton
No reaction. No reaction. The center has caught and the latex is beginning to melt around the edges of the flame. No sign of smoke or smoldering.

Four Second Burn Time
Rubberlicous
Fire cloth
Latex
Cotton
No reaction. No reaction. Flame is spreading rapidly and Latex continues to melt. Smoke and smoldering is beginning at the hot-spot.

Nine Second Burn Time
Rubberlicous
Fire cloth
Latex
Cotton
No reaction. No reaction. Latex is now almost completely consumed and dripping onto the plate. Smoke and smoldering is worse and Cotton begins to ignite.

Fourteen Second Burn Time
Rubberlicous
Fire cloth
Latex
Cotton
No reaction. No reaction. Latex continues to burn and is now dripping rapidly, the melted and dripping Latex continues to burn on the plate. Cotton is fully ignited and is rapidly being consumed, leaving behind smoldering ash.

Twenty-eight Second Burn Time
Rubberlicous
Fire cloth
Latex
Cotton
Rubber has started to sag slightly at the point of the hot-spot. Fire Cloth has just begun to smoke at the point of the hot-spot. Latex is completely consumed and only the drips continue to burn on the plate. Cotton is completely consumed and only smoldering ash remains.

Forty-one Second Burn Time
Rubberlicous
Fire cloth
Latex
Cotton
Rubber has sagged slightly more at the point of the hot-spot and has just begun to smoke. Fire Cloth, after 41 seconds of burn time still only has a small hot-spot that is directly over the candle flame. At this point we ceased filming, as the continued results would be identical. This fabric is such that it can be immersed in fuel, lit and left to burn until the fuel exhausted itself and would still show no signs of damage. Latex drippings continue to burn. Cotton ash has finished smoldering.

One hundred and five Second Burn Time
Rubberlicous
Fire cloth
Latex
Cotton
Rubber has just ignited at the hot-spot and is slowly burning. No further images, burn was stopped at 41 seconds. No further images, burn was complete at 65 seconds. No further images, burn was complete at 44 seconds.

One hundred and forty-six Second Burn Time
Rubberlicous
Fire cloth
Latex
Cotton
Rubber continues to burn slowly and has just begun to melt at the hot-spot, there is no dripping. No further images, burn was stopped at 41 seconds. No further images, burn was stopped at 41 seconds. No further images, burn was complete at 44 seconds.

I reccomend that you open and watch these side by side, for getting the full effect of how well our rubber works.
Be warned, these files take forever to download even using DSL.
Also, all of these movies were made to be watched using QuickTime.
